QPX series laboratory power supplies are designed to provide flexibility in the choice of voltage and current to meet multiple diverse applications.

The new Aim TTi QPX750SP is a single output DC power supply with a maximum output power of 750 watts. It is suited to both bench-top and system applications. Voltages up to 80V and currents up to 50A are available within a defined power envelope. QPX750SP provides an added safety feature where voltages above 50V require authorization from the user to comply with SELV.

A conventional PSU has a fixed current limit giving a power capability that reduces directly with the output voltage. The Aim-TTi PowerFlex+ regulation systems enable higher currents to be generated at lower voltages within an overall power limit envelope. The output can provide more than six times the current of a conventional PSU of the same maximum voltage and power.

A balanced multi-phase converter system minimizes ripple and improves dynamic performance. This provides unusually low noise for the power level coupled with a good transient response.

In addition to the 1mV 10mA resolution metering the display gives a reading for total power. Operation limits can be set as V, I or W.

Equivalent resistance measurement of the load enables low resistance measurements to be made at high currents, using the remote sense terminals to create a four-terminal connection. This gives more reliable results for certain component types, such as magnetics and cables harness.

A comprehensive array of interfaces including USB, LAN /LXi and Quasi-analogue are standard. GPIB is available as a factory or custom fit option. QPX750SP is compatible with Aim-TTi Test Bridge software, providing graphical remote instrument control, logging and sequencing.
